Outline of Psychological Content:
Full day workshop on quantitative analysis: Introduction to Bayesian analysis in Stata
Workshop Aim: Bayesian analysis is becoming more popular in psychology and social sciences. This workshop will introduce attendees to the principles and applications of Bayesian analysis using the Stata statistical software programme. Stata has its own dedicated Bayesian commands, which cover regression, graphical summaries, summary statistics, sample sizes, and hypothesis testing. The workshop will involve an introduction to Stata, followed by the use of Stata for Bayesian analysis using psychology-relevant examples.

Teaching Objectives:
To raise awareness of health psychology and to promote the DHP
To apply the science of psychology to health and to promote health
To disseminate the results of current knowledge and science in health psychology

Method of Event Evaluation: Participants will be offered paper-pencil or online feedback forms via SurveyMonkey
